Ducati invented the “naked bike” concept with the Monster, and it has since become one of the most iconic motorcycles around. Its powerful, aggressive looks match its huge torque and raspy sound, with the typical Italian styling that is anything but "typical".
The Monster 1000 S2R is the last 2-valve, air-cooled engine Ducati made, and by far the best. Huge torque is available at any RPM, making it one of the easiest bikes to ride around town, or on the highway, to be found. The S2R shares much of its running gear, including the suspension and brakes, with its superbike cousins, making it no slouch when the ride gets twisty.
Open the loud handle and you’ll be greeted with a raspy yet smooth bellow that is unlike anything else in the Ducati range.
