Dodge Viper SRT-10 SC
Power, Power, and More PowerLook far and wide, and you'll never find a rental car that's faster or more powerful than this one: the supercharged PRI Dodge Viper SRT-10. Normally making 510 bhp from its monstrous factory 8.3-liter V-10, the Viper has a well-deserved history as America's truest supercar. It's a no-nonsense, muscular beast whose sole purpose in life is to go really, really fast. But we at PRI felt that 510 horsepower just wasn't enough; so we added a huge centrifugal supercharger that brings it up to an eye-watering 750 horsepower, enough to accelerate it to 60 mph in about three seconds and to stand toe-to-toe with any high-revving European exotic it'll meet, from a Ferrari Enzo to a Murciélago LP640. And the sound it makes while it's doing so, through the side-mounted custom Corsa exhaust, is mind-blowing. That's not all we did, either. A stock Viper can be a handful, with plenty of power to spin the tires when you're not expecting it; so we built in Racelogic variable traction control (which makes sure the engine doesn't overpower the wheels, providing you optimum acceleration at the edge of grip). We also added light alloy wheels, sticky tires, and a custom lightweight brake system, giving this car the same kind of improved handling feel and dynamics available on the similarly-engineered Viper ACR.
